What the company does

We build native client applications for macOS, Android, iOS and Linux, each opening an encrypted network tunnel and routing traffic through a rule engine. The macOS and Android clients are shipping; the iOS and Linux clients are in development.

All four platforms build from one networking core: a modified build of mihomo, an open-source engine, maintained and extended by us. A branch that split off once cost us months, so a single line is now the rule.

We also operate the platform behind the clients: the server fleet, the node software, and the services that handle subscriptions and device registration. Running it ourselves means defects come back to us rather than to somebody else.

The company is newly registered and self-funded, and we would rather say so than write around it. The details below come from our filed formation documents; you will not find a user count, an uptime figure or a customer logo anywhere on this site.

What we build, and what we leave out

Three of the decisions that shaped this software were decisions not to build something.

Linux gets a terminal, not a window

The Linux client is a command line and a full-screen terminal interface in one binary. No graphical shell is planned, because the people who run it work in a terminal already.

One architecture on Android

The Android client ships 64-bit ARM only. A device that cannot run it refuses the install outright, rather than installing and then failing on the first connection.

We publish the builds ourselves

We distribute releases directly rather than through application stores. Installation takes an extra step, and the release gate sits with us.
