Accessibility statement
We want this site to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or reduced motion.
Standard we aim for
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. No independent audit has been done, so that is a target, not certified conformance.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML, with one ordered heading structure on every page.
- A skip link at the top of every page, straight to the main content.
- Everything is reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and interface colours are checked for contrast in both themes.
- No client-side JavaScript, so nothing depends on scripts running.
- Short fades only, and none at all when the system asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- We have not tested every screen reader and browser combination; tell us which one you use.
- We have not had an independent accessibility audit; we intend to commission one as the site grows.
We do not use an accessibility overlay
This site uses no accessibility overlay, plugin, or toolbar widget. Overlays do not deliver conformance, and often interfere with a visitor's own assistive technology.
Tell us about a problem
If part of this site is hard to use, tell us the page and the assistive technology you were using. We read every message.
